Even in my early years I felt a deep love to music. From classical piano, as a 5 year old, to guitars, bass and percussions / drums I learned nearly everything about music and instruments. I played in several bands, big bands, orchestras and had my first live gigs.... soon I got the life changing chance to learn all necessary things about recording studios from my first studio-mentors. As a 12 year old, I had my own little sound studios just next to my parent's house (they built some kind of a lovely and nice garden-house which I turned into a "studio"). At this point: it's pretty sure that I wouldn't be where I am now without the big support of my parents - thank you!

And soon I created my own philosophy of sound recording, invented my own practices and became more and more interested and trained in all aspects of theory and practical work in recording, mixing, editing - and producing! I mean, even then I asked myself all the time: what is a music producer really doing?? And to be honest - even today I can't really answer this question... haha!  more...
