A top recording is an important basic to reach a professional high-quality production! Statements like "we'll fix it in the mix" are just wrong and reserved for absolute emergencies!

We always try to realize our sound visions already while recording. The target is, that a recording-roughmix should sound absolutely cool and near the results of a mixdown. You know how it is: you cannot make gold out of shit - but imagine what you can make out of gold....?

Mixing
Every engineer has he's own preferences and approaches when it comes to mixing a song. For us, there is actually only one really important point: "the magic"! Every song has its own and if you're able to concentrate on this magic and force it - you will get awesome and outrageous results!
